Designation: Serpent parasite.
Origin: Unknown – Believed linked to Sagittarius A
Physiology: Parasitic organisms capable of infestation, mutation, and rapid evolution
Known For: Galactic-scale infestations
What We Know
The Milark, also referred to in older records as the Envoy, are among the most feared and least understood threats in the galaxy. Their appearance marks the beginning of widespread planetary collapse and biological corruption. Their connection to Eventum wave radiation and the galactic core remains under investigation.
Milark organisms begin as small parasitic larvae, often entering a host through the mouth or respiratory system. Once inside, they gradually take control, first over neural responses, then motor control. Over time, the host is transformed into a hollowed-out vessel until the parasite reaches maturity and erupts from the body, growing into a massive, serpent-like creature.
Hosts show varying degrees of cognitive preservation depending on infection duration, making Milark infiltration extremely difficult to detect until it’s too late.
Biological Traits
- Parasitic Infestation: Enters hosts and slowly overrides bodily systems.
- Rapid Evolution: Adapts quickly to combat conditions and stimuli.
- Eventum Sensitivity: Drawn to Eventum Wave Radiation. Exposure causes erratic growth and behavioral shifts.
- Hive Behavior: Though not telepathic in the traditional sense, infected exhibit coordinated movements and group responses, suggesting a shared signal source.
Connection to Eventum
Milark behaviour is closely tied to the appearance of Eventum artefacts, obsidian-like relics that emit strange radiation. These relics seem to act as beacons or triggers for dormant Milark, awakening them across different regions of space.
Some researchers theorise that Eventum holds ancestral memory, a form of imprinting passed between generations. This might explain why the Milark often emerge with hostile intent, hey are following a directive embedded deep within them, perhaps not by choice, but by design.
Current Understanding (As of UY-R.R.T+ / 07.9.04M.091.07.02.1)
While much remains classified, the following conclusions have been made public by the A.R.S Ignition science division:
- Milark DNA is ancient, with trace elements of almost all known lifeforms.
- Eventum artefacts may serve as both evolutionary catalysts and memory archives.
- Their emergence follows no known galactic cycle, though some believe this is the result of a deeper pattern yet to be understood.
Speculation and Unknowns
“There is a cycle beneath the surface—an intelligence waiting to be understood.” – Dr. Erynd Kalos
Status
As of the last confirmed engagement:
- Milark infestations have declined dramatically following the Ignition.
- No new host-conversions have been reported within the inner rings in over 3 rotations.
- Surveillance protocols remain active across critical artefact zones.
Core Advisory:
Milark threats may be dormant, but they are never gone. Remain vigilant around all unregistered Eventum signatures. Any potential artefact discoveries should be reported to A.R.S Ignition or Aegis Eternum immediately.
